Ondřej Dvořák has worked with Chios mastic since 2008. He runs the Masticlife consultancy, where he helps people choose the right form and dosage of mastic, and has worked for years directly with growers and the Chios Gum Mastic Growers Association (CHMGA) on the Greek island of Chios.

What he focuses on

His focus is mastic and the support of normal digestion. In the consultancy he often answers questions on topics such as reflux, stomach problems or Helicobacter pylori – always with the clear note that mastic is a food supplement, not a medicine. He is the author of the articles on the Masticlife blog, which are based on professional literature and studies (such as the well-known study on the effect of mastic on H. pylori, published in The New England Journal of Medicine).
